Pretend Series - BALLET
It's all about the costume.
Grab your tutu and prepare to be VERY elegant and graceful as we pretend to have ballet class. There will be no ballet taught, but there will be many ballet dancers.

For little ones, extra-curriculars are, in essence, an opportunity to put on a costume. Whether a jersey or a leotard, it's an exciting moment to be a character. In our pretend series, we will do just that, and first up is Ballet.
Raising Heroines
Nurturing strength, voice and heart.
From the incredible history of Cleopatra to the Rossini Opera version of Cinderella - full of disguises instead of magic - we will have a blast hearing multiple versions of our favorite tales, opening our perspective and challenging our own narratives of what happened.
Weeks will vary, including listening, discussion, coloring, play time, and popcorn!

Wild Time Classical Music Immersion
Children will twirl and tumble, tip toe and stomp - however their bodies are inspired to - in this boisterous classical music free-flow time.

Juggling Club
Try something new or hone your skills with the guidance of a seasoned circus performer! Thayer is quickly becoming dear to our family, and we can't wait to share him with you!
Ages 7 - 18
Thursdays 6-7 PM, starting June 19th
Thayer Slichter (he/him) has had circus in his heart since the sixth grade. Over the past four years, he has taught and performed at festivals and shows across the United States, from Boulder, CO to Baltimore, MA. He has worked with educational programs including the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis (teaching with Benjamin Domask-Ruh), the International Jugglers’ Association (Youth Juggling Academy), American Youth Circus Organization/American Circus Educators (HupSquad), City of Lakes Waldorf School (circus program, interim Movement & Games teacher, guest teaching artist). He was lead graphic designer and contributing editor for the Juggler’s Badge Book, a juggling achievement program published through Modern Vaudeville Press in collaboration with the International Jugglers’ Association.
